Personality:
When a cat sees Mottledstar, they don't automatically see a leader. Mottledstar is kind, and soft. Her voice is not loud, nor is it proud. Her demeanor is calm and motherly, and she rarely ever raises her voice. Mottledstar is kind above all else. She doesn't see the point in senseless fighting and war. She likes to see not only her Clan, but all the Clans at peace. Of course, these moments of peace are few and far between in the world. Mottledstar remains level headed at all times, and this is the one trait that makes her a great leader. Anger is an emotion that she doesn't feel often, even in situations that call for anger. This is a great trait as a leader, because she doesn't let emotions like that get in the way of her decisions. But one of the things that hurts her ability to leave her kindness. She has a hard time turning down a cat in need, and often tries to see the goodness in other cats above all things. She wants to live in an idealistic world where every cat is as kind as she is. Of course, this is not the case, and this is something she has forced herself to come to terms with. Mottledstar is a hopeless romantic at heart. As an apprentice she would dream more of finding the right cat than becoming a warrior. Times change, though, and romance is the last thing on this pretty she-cat's mind.

Limitations: Mottledstar's biggest limitation would be her lack of physical strength. While she knows battle moves and how to fight to her size, a bigger cat could overpower her if she wasn't careful.
Family:
Featherface - Mother - Elder - RockClan.
Spottedpelt - Father - Elder - RockClan.
Blacktail - Sister - Warrior - 40 moons - RockClan.
Brownclaw - Brother - Warrior - 40 moons - RockClan.
Brindlepaw - Daughter - Apprentice - RockClan.
Cedarpaw - Son - Apprentice - RockClan.
History:
Mottledkit - Mottledkit was born on a chilly Leaf-fall morning to Featherface and Spottedpelt. Her parents had been mates since they were young, and having kits had always been a dream of theirs. So, when Mottledkit, Blackkit, and Brownkit were born, the parents couldn't have been happier. All three of the kits were healthy despite the weather. As the kits grew, personalities started to develop. Mottledkit was the quiet one, Blackkit was the rambunctious one, and Brownkit was the smart one. The kits weren't like normal siblings who spent a lot of time with one another, in fact, they couldn't really stand to be around each other. All of their personalities were so different, and it was hard for them to accept each other. Featherface was a excellent mother, though, and kept fights from breaking out.
Mottledpaw - Becoming apprentices was just what the three kits needed. They were tired of being in each other's fur, and they were ready to leave camp! Like any kit, Mottledkit was ecstatic about becoming an apprentice. Her mentor was an older tom, who had plans to retire to the elder's den after he trained one last kit. Mottledpaw and the tom got along well enough. Of course, for most apprentices, he would be too slow.. But not for Mottledpaw. Mottledpaw was a level headed and calm as ever, and she didn't mind waiting on her mentor. Besides, she wasn't interested in hunting and fighting and stuff. She just wanted a mate. Yeah, she was a little young to be thinking like that.. But it was all she could think of. Being a mother would be the ultimate joy for her. She wanted a relationship like the one her parents shared.
Mottlednose - Mottledpaw received her warrior name alongside her siblings. The three of them had learned to love each other and all of their differences, and were closer than ever. Mottlednose didn't change much in the moons that passed. She went on patrols and did was she was told, but all she ever dreamed about was finding a mate. None of the toms in the Clan seemed interested though. Honestly, they were all either too old or too immature for her. Even though she was only nineteen moons old, she started to fall into a bit of a depression. She felt ugly and unlovable.. Why else wouldn't she have a mate? It was these feelings that would ultimately be her undoing, but that wouldn't happen until later.
When she was twenty-two moons old, it happened. The current deputy died. It was a tragic story, really. He had been out on patrol, and a badger attacked. Most of the patrol was apprentices who needed a little extra hunting training. He told the apprentices to run, while he held the badger off. His deed was heroic, and the whole Clan grieved immensely for him. Apparently Mottlednose had made a bigger impression on the old leader than she thought, because before she even knew was going on, she was made the new deputy. The leader was an old she-cat was who was on her eighth life. Her name was Crowstar, and she had lead the Clan successfully for years and years. She explained to Mottlednose that she was just what the Clan needed. A smart, calm leader. Of course, Mottlednose just sat silently in awe. She'd never pictured herself leading the Clan.
Life as a deputy wasn't that different for Mottlednose. She helped organize things, and went through the motions of daily life. She quit searching for a mate. After all, she was deputy now, and she really didn't have time for all of that. She was twenty-six moons old when it all happened. Crowstar got sick, and she got pregnant. It really was an awful ordeal. See, she'd been seeing this MarshClan tom in secret for a long time. If she hadn't been so desperate for male attention, maybe she would have said no to his advances... But she just wanted a mate so bad. When she told him of her situation, he told her he didn't want to see her anymore. He said that he wouldn't let her bring him down with her.
Mottlednose was heartbroken when she made her way back to the Clan. What was she supposed to do? How could she lead them when she was so... Bad? Crowstar didn't have long, a few moons at the most.. How could a pregnant leader be efficient? She didn't have long to think on it, because two moons later, Crowstar was dead and she was heavily pregnant.
No cat could question StarClan or their ways, and even if the Clan would rather not have had her as a leader, they were stuck with her. She named _________________ deputy, and was leader right up until her two kits were born. ________ took over for awhile, until the kits were big enough to be without her.
Now, Mottledstar is thirty-seven moons old.. Her kits are apprentices, and she's taken the lead once again. Can she ever redeem herself?[/justify]
