East River

Connected to the lake on the east is the East River. It's waters are dangerously fast and isn't recommended for swimming in. The current is too fast and too strong for even the best swimmer and even twolegs are smart enough not to play in the river too deep. Once your head is under, there is little to no hope of resurfacing alive. However, there is plenty of fish here that stay close to shore so they won't be swept away in the current. The shores on both sides is covered in tan sand that is glorious to lay in during Green-leaf. This is a hot spot for the elders as they like to sun themselves here and watch the waterfowl bob in the river. Of course, they don't have to worry about being caught in the current since they can just fly away.
