OOC name: Dreamy. Character's Name: Mottledstar. Rank: Leader. Age: 37 moons. Gender: She-cat. Personality: Kind, level headed, motherly. why your cat is good for this role: Mottledstar is a very kind she-cat. She doesn't jump into decisions without putting some thought into them. Angering her is nearly impossible, so she would never let anger affect her ability to lead. She is empathetic, and accepting of most cats and situations. She is very linguistic, and can speak well. While she isn't your stereotypical leader, she is still a good leader. RP Example: The tortoiseshell she-cat stood silently, just on the border of MarshClan. He was in there, the tom who had ruined her life. Mottledstar had only recently been able to take over the responsibility of leading the Clan. Could things be different? What if he would have stayed, and came to RockClan to live? How would things be now? She told no cat the identity of her kit's father, and she never planned to. Every cat knew that he was from a different Clan, or maybe even a loner. She was certain they judged her for it, but what could she do? She couldn't go back in time and change her decision. Even if she could, would she? The thoughts were tormenting. She loved her kits with everything in her, but at the same time she just wished things could be normal for her. She could feel the glares of her Clanmates in her back everywhere she went. She knew they wondered why they were even listening to her in the first place. But what could she do? There was nothing she could say to them that would change the fact that Cedarpaw and Brindlepaw were half Clan. Nothing would ever change that. She supposed she could step down, but.. She didn't want to. She loved leading her Clan and ensuring the best for them.. Maybe some day they would come around.
With a bit of a jolt she realized that the pale light of sunrise was starting to penetrate the murky dark of the Leafbare night. She turned quickly, stumbling a bit from exhaustion, and ran back to the camp. The cat on guard simply nodded at her as she ran by. Every cat in camp knew that on most nights their leader didn't rest. With a swish of her tail, she padded over to the warriors den. She poked her head inside, "Lilyfoot, Rosewing, and Ibistail you're coming with me on the dawn patrol. Lilyfoot, bring Sparrowpaw along." She looked over as her deputy's head rose. "Batclaw, please put together a hunting patrol." With that, the leader stepped backwards and then padded to the entrance of camp to wait on her patrol. Sleepiness tugged at her eyelids, and she decided he would take a nap when the patrol got back.
