"Ahh, nothing beats a day walking in the clearing." Hazecloud said to himself. He sniffed the clean air, tasting the scent of new leaf. Smiling, he continued his walk. He always loved coming to the clearing when its new leaf. The strong scent of the mountains race down to the clearing, making it feel like your in the mountains. The clearing is also a good place to hunt in new leaf. the grass is tall enough for the mice and birds won't see you coming until the last minute. "I think i will go hunting for my clan. After all, its better to go ahead and have some food ready for them." He said to himself as he started to sniff the air. Catchin the scent of a mouse, he silently lowered himself to the ground and prowled off towards the scent. With graceful steps, he silently made his way over to the mouse, using the tall grass. Stoping, he narrowed his eyes at the mouse. He watched as it nibbled on a seed, not bothering to sniff the air. Quietly putting a paw in front of him, Hazecloud moved very slowly towards the mouse. He stoped when the mouse started to look around. Gently moving his shoulders, he bursted out of the grass, towards the mouse. The mouse started to run off but Hazecloud's claws hit it on the side, making it go flying. Jumping, he grabbed the mouse with his teeth and bit down on its neck, killing it. "This will do for one of my clanmates." He said to himself as he picked up his prey and started to walk off.
