Sinking down for a rest, Carpnose didn't ever stay in one position long. She was an impatient she-cat and it usually got the best of her; especially during hunting. It wasn't like her to rest either. But with a squirrel and a water vole at her side, she deserved the rest. They were both small but took out a lot of the she-cat's energy. It was new-leaf and during leaf-bare, Carpnose became some what out of shape. It was hard to keep up her shape in leaf-bare when all she wanted to do was snuggle in her warm nest. But never the less, her need for speed and adventure got her right back onto her feet. Grabbing her prey, she buried it and continued on. She did not like being within the camp. It made her feel confined to a small space in which she could not escape. I guess you cold say this she-cat is claustrophobic.
Carpnose padded along the Great Lake. It was said that only during gatherings was it okay to travel along the Great Lake and onto another Clan's territory. And to the Moonpool of course. Carpnose hated going over to MarshClan's side to go to the Moonpool and she didn't know why they had to go there to speak with StarClan. Why couldn't StarClan come to them? Carpnose went through this daily with herself. Arguing about whether or not she actually liked or believed in StarClan. It didn't matter though, because she was bored and greatly wanted to do something fun and adventurous.
There was two borders beside her. MarshClan and SunClan. She didn't like either of them but if she had to choose who she's rather join it would be SunClan. That Clan, in her eyes was weak and she could easily get away with doing whatever she wanted. But she loved her Clan and her home. It would be weird not being able to dip her paws in the water and catch a fish. Carpnose let out a sigh and plopped herself down on the ground. Boredom and Carpnose was never good. She would find something to do, and it wouldn't be save or sane.

Icestar began to worry, her clan had only had two kittens in the past season and that meant her clan was smaller then the others. It worried her that the other clans could see Frostclan as weak. The smaller female sighed, everything was worrying her now a days. Her clan was small, no new apprentices, she didn't even have a mate.
The white female picked up a scent, one she knew well. Carpnose?. Icestar wondered what she was doing out here, the she-cat didn't order any patrols, was she contemplating like Icestar? She sniffed the ground, Carpnose is alone?. Now Icestar was just curious, depise the fack she was a leader and role model for her clan.
The day was beautiful, spring finally coming back to the clans. Icestar peeked around the corner, ''Hello Carpnose, fine day isnt it?'', the female was by two borders, Icestar had no idea what Carpnose was doing there. She truly hopped she would not leave Frostclan like Icestar herself left her old home, family and all.
''May i ask what you are doing out here?'', Icestar sat down, curling her thin tail around her small paws. Her bright aqua eyes seemed curious, but her heat was concerned for the size of her clan. And the fact that Carpnose was a good warrior. She looked around her self for a quick moment, they where very close to the lake.
